Fire door services
Installations & replacements
Fully guaranteed fire rated doors for Single Leaf, Double Leaf, Sliding Doors and Sealed Smoke Doors, with a choice of finishes. Non-rated doors supplied on request where a rated door isn't required, including sliding fire doors, fire rated shutters and air transfer grills.
Inspections
Regular fire door inspections are compulsory in Queensland and ensure every door operates properly in a fire. On completion you receive a detailed Record of Maintenance outlining each door's condition, which passed and which failed, plus a quote to rectify any non-compliant defects.
Certification
All new fire doors are tagged and certified with a plate carrying a unique tag number, year of manufacture, manufacturer, hour rating and certifier. A certificate of compliance and schedule of evidence is issued on completion, with Form 16 if required. Fyre Pro Aus Pty Ltd holds current QBCC licences to tag and certify fire rated doorsets.
Maintenance
Replacement hardware, door realignments or easing, compliant hardware installation, tested deadbolt repairs, and repairs where altered floor finishes cause gaps under unit fire doors. We work closely with building managers, body corporates, committees and centre managers.
Asbestos removal
Some older fire doors contain asbestos. We remove and dispose of existing asbestos doors without stripping hardware off them, keeping the work area safe. An EPA certificate of correct disposal can be provided on request.
Painting & frames
New doors are primed top and bottom before installation. We offer priming and final painting colour-matched to existing doors and frames, pre-painted doors via our Trueline Imaging system, and frame maintenance including welding repairs and electric strike preparations.
