System specifications
| Promat L500 + collar + trowel grade Grafitex | Promat L500 comes in a 2.4m x 1.2m x 52mm sheet, a calcium silicate composite board used as a fire-rated bulkhead or to move the parent element. Promat collar is cut down or pre-made to size, then wraps around multiple services including copper pipes lagged with combustible insulation. |
|---|---|
| Promat Promospray | Cementitious sprays are gypsum-based vermiculite fire spray applied onto the duct once meshed. Required thickness varies from 25mm to 60mm depending on internal-external protection; each manufacturer's requirements differ. |
| Promat L500 + mechanical dampers | L500 as fire-rated bulkhead. Mechanical dampers come in an array of sizes, normally custom made, working on the basis of a fusible link to activate the blades. |
| Bullock mechanical dampers | Custom-sized mechanical dampers activated by fusible link. Fire dampers can be subject to insulation criteria required by Australian Standards under certain conditions. |
| Lorient intumescent dampers | Intumescent dampers in many sizes as an alternative to mechanical dampers, installed in many wall types and available in cylindrical shape. |
| Annual certification of fire dampers | One of our certifiers tests 20% of your dampers annually so all dampers are inspected over a 5 year period. Passing dampers get a maintenance inspection label; you receive a maintenance record and a quote to repair or replace any defective dampers. It only takes one non-compliance item and a damper cannot be certified. |
